Land Acknowledgement

The Canadian Institute for Human Rights and Global Health is located on the traditional territory of the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek, within the lands covered by the Robinson-Huron Treaty of 1850. We also acknowledge that the City of Greater Sudbury includes the traditional territory of the Wahnapitae First Nation.

We express our deep gratitude to the Indigenous Peoples who have cared for this land and its waters for generations. We honour their enduring presence, knowledge, and stewardship, and we recognize our responsibility to engage in respectful and meaningful relationships rooted in reconciliation and justice.

We are thankful for the opportunity to live, learn, and work on these sacred lands.
